The original incarnation of this complilation was originally released in 2002 on CD, containing offcuts and other bits and pieces that I’d written around that time.
Originally a limited edition of around thirty copies, it was a sell-out during my sets at the Big Chill Naxos festival that same year.
Much of this work dates from around 2000-2001. There are some really decent moments; the lyrical sentiment of ‘Two People’, ‘My Bollocks Feel Funny’ – a track written whilst suffering an unusual feeling in my scrotum, right through to the drifting ambience of ‘Tall Buildings’. The album finale is the first track I ever committed to tape back in 1992, ‘Iridescent Blue Sea’, 20 minutes of delay and reverb.
Note: the CD version of this album contains a remix of ‘Music to Drive to’.
